I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year. JCTS has just come through three very exciting years in our 81 year history. The outgoing leadership team of President Z Mincek (2015-2017), Treasurer Joe Luke (2015-2017), and VP Lance Day - with the assistance of our talented staff and board of directors - have built JCTS into a clay target sports destination for the twenty-first century!  With the support of our generous Founders and Sponsors, this leadership team was able to add two state-of-the-industry sporting clays courses to the JCTS campus and upgrade many other club facilities. Thank you all for your contributions to JCTS and the North Florida sporting community!  As we enter the new year, please join me in welcoming our new - or continuing -  officers and directors, including:

I am honored to serve as the new President of JCTS. For some background, I am a native of Denver, CO. After graduating from CSU, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 28 years, retiring as a Colonel. Following my military career, I worked for JaxPort for 15 years, recently retiring from the position of COO. I am blessed with a wonderful wife, two healthy children, and two young grandchildren. For those of you who I have not met, please stop me to say "hello" when you are at the club.

JCTS has an entertaining Spring season lined up for you. Please mark your calendar, and make any necessary reservations, so you won't miss your favorite events. Many events are listed below, and your can find them on our calendar.

First quarter 2018 is a great time to introduce interested friends to clay target sports. JCTS is an easy place to begin a clay target sports hobby due to our diverse activities and many amenities, including: safety training, certified instructors, Range Safety Officers, on-site gunsmithing services, Pro Shop, Wednesday night dinners, and event rentals. Our staff and volunteers are happy to give tours or answer questions for interested individuals.
